Bit By Bit Part of our program focuses on private and group work in preparation for school shows from March through November at Silver Star Farm, Spotslyvania, VA; VAHA District IV - Rosemont Farm, Fredricksburg, VA.; Prince William Horse Association, Manassas, VA; and the year's finale--the Stonewall Farm "theme" Fun Show in October. Other annual events include a summertime bash and the Stonewall Farm Student Holiday Party, in December. We also exhibit Norfleets Imprint, "Spud" at the World Horse Expo in Timonium, MD in January. The Stonewall Farm "theme" show is a culminating event for our students who get a chance to demonstrate some of what they have learned during the year in an atmosphere of fun and creativity. Stonewall Farm family and friends are also spectators as well as participants in the annual recognitions ceremony, now a lively tradition after the cookout. Other events we have planned for 2003 include a fundraiser talent show (to raise money for additional sand in the riding ring), restoration of a new club house, and a Stonewall Farm cookbook. We look forward to participation from ALL of our students and family. |
